W.A.Y. WELS Area Youth Retreat and Camping Weekend
Camp Lor-Ray - April 28-30, 2005
Come and join your friends and other youth from our area for a youth retreat and camping weekend at Camp Lor-Ray. Our goal is a Christ centered weekend of fun and service to others. We will be cleaning up, getting ready for Kid’s Camp this summer, and expanding the trails on the campgrounds.
You will need to bring rakes, gloves, and a willingness to work. You will also need warm bedding and clothes to match the weather that’s expected for that weekend. We will be staying in the cabins (no tents required!) and serving meals in the kitchen so no cooking equipment will be needed either!
Spiritual food and bodily food will be provided on Saturday and Sunday through lunch. All the brush and debris collected will provide fuel for a bonfire on Saturday Night.
Transportation from Grace Lutheran in St Joe will be arranged at a later date depending on how many youth sign up.
